Photos of Cousins

Wow these little girls can be hard to catch in focus at a wide aperture.  My T2i struggles to autofocus fast enough even on center point focusing.  More practicing needed to increase my hit count on these candid of the little kids.  Zoom out while they run straight for you, get the composition, and focus all in about a second.  Glad we were just messing around.

Calm After the Storm

On my commute home from work the rain let up and these great clouds were moving quickly overhead.  I pulled the car over to try and capture the scene.

This is a shot I took of the Cathedral in downtown Fort Wayne.  Was downtown just before sunset picking up my packet for Fort4Fitness.

300ZX Lunch Date

This summer I took the Nissan 300zx out for a drive over lunch and saw this sport to get some photos.  For an impromptu photo shoot these turned out decent.  I will have to go back another time as my skills have improved a lot in the last few months.

Sunrise on Morning Commute

On the way to work on the morning of September 22, 2011 I had to pull over to capture the sunrise.  This is handheld due to leaving the tripod at home accidentally.  It never leaves the luggage compartment now!

Introduction Post

After falling in love with my parent's Canon Rebel xsi I finally bought my own dslr in November of 2010.  Since then I have learned a TON about photography, and every time I learn something new my thirst for more knowledge seems to grow exponentially!  I am starting this blog to begin to document my growth in photography, and to show my portfolio as I begin to build it.
